ABOUT US

The Department of Education Studies at the National University of Mongolia (NUM) was established in 2023. Our department is affiliated with the Division of Social Sciences of the School of Arts and Sciences at the National University of Mongolia. The faculty members of our department focus on becoming the leading academic and research center for educating future teachers, educators, policymakers, and practitioners in the field of education and educational management.  

The purpose of our department is to become the leading national center for training and research in the field of education studies. The objectives are:

  • Take the leading role in bringing the paradigm changes in education sector and preparing well-grounded teachers
  • Train teachers and researchers who can bring innovations and lead in the field of education.

We offer undergraduate programs in preparing teachers for the fields of natural, social sciences, and humanities in collaboration with other academic departments at the NUM. We also offer graduate (master’s and doctoral) programs in Education studies.
